Werner brings confidence to the canoe paddler with the Algonquin. No longer let concerns of the reliability of light weight carbon keep you from the feel and performance you love in a paddle. Decades of working with carbon have given us the expertise to be able to go light, under 12 ounces, and still be strong. Beyond the physical light weight, the Algonquin will paddle light with the buoyancy of our Ultimate designed blades. Each stroke pops from the water at the exit, quietly and effortlessly. No detail in workmanship is missed when this work of art is handcrafted in our facility in Monroe, WA USA.
More about Algonquin 1 Piece Bent Shaft:
Our Ultimate Performance brings together all of our most advanced designs. Paddles that offer Ultimate Performance have an exceptionally light, buoyant and quiet feel on the water.
The volume of our proprietary foam core meets carbon to bring our lightest option of ultimate performance.
By adding a dihedral to our canoe blade design, water is given direction to flow easily off the blade which minimizes flutter.
10 degree blade to shaft offset is the standard in canoe touring paddles and incorporated in the design of our Algonquin and Churchill.
Our long, slender blade shape allows for a less abrupt catch of your stroke. This allows for easier paddling with less wear on the body.
