Weightless, silky Smooth, FULL of power

"I borrowed the Ikelos for a sunset paddle and WOW - so much power, no flex, and so light! I rarely use the touring paddles I've got at the dock because I love taking a fast boat - paddling hard across glassy water. Ikelos loves to go hard. The 'catch' feels solid - zero flex - and the release . . it just pops out of the water. It's hard to buy a paddle when I already own several but this Ikelos bent shaft is spoiling me. Might try the Cyprus to compare but Ikelos makes my freshwater fitness paddling more fun."

Kayak Fishing Custom

"I am a whitewater kayak angler. We need longer paddles for the width of kayaks and high seating options we prefer. This paddle did not come in the 240 length I wanted, so my local shop, Delaware Paddlesports ordered it for me custom. The bent shaft allows me to paddle efficiently. It also affords me the ability to do some things that only kayak anglers do: apply force with elbows, knees, torso and forearm. Trying these one hand paddling techniques is less effective with a straight shaft. I can also stand up and one hand sculling draw my kayak into position for the perfect cast while sight fishing Smallmouth, Redfish or Northern Snakehead because the bend in the shaft cradles my forearm, allowing most of the force of this unique stroke to be taken off of my wrist. Its lightweight design also makes the one handed micro strokes for proper boat positioning possible. It’s a niche application. I am super happy to own the Ikelos in the right length for kayak fishing!"

Awesome Paddle

"This is a powerhouse of a paddle! Ultra light weight, durable, and perfectly contoured for a high angled paddler that surf launches and plays in sloppy conditions. I have been using the Ike for 3 years now on the Gulf of Mexico's sloppy surf. It allows for a powerful stroke to get out of the surf quick, and a broad blade to control the kayak as you surf and maneuver back in. Love this paddle!"
