Won’t sell yak b/c of paddle

"Years owned: 10+ Gear: necky manitou 14’ Pros: everything. Weight, balance, everything. Cons: 0 Well. This thing is simply amazing. In fact, I love it so much that I will not sell my kayak BECAUSE of the PADDLE. I enters the water like a hot knife into melted butter. Then it anchors itself so your power goes directly into propelling you and your Yak forward… amazingly efficient. Then on the exit it simply pops up, ready to slice the other side into the water. I love it I love it I love it. Plus a bonus I found out today. It’s very quite. I used my wife’s carbon fiber paddle today (exchanged 1/2 way through trip) and hers produced splash and therefore, sound. With hers, every stroke was noisy. I hadn’t realized before, but Werner was nearly silent!!! So much more peaceful!!!! In addition, you feel control. My wife said so today. She could control her yak so much better with my paddle (me too once I tried her paddle) Seriously, this is one of my FAVORITE ANYTHINGs I’ve ever bought. More than my beloved Igloo, my beloved mountain bike, my beloved espresso machine… and all the above are beloved by me. I love it. I love it. I love it. Even after over 10 years. :D This review was real, not sponsored or paid for in any way."

Many boats- One paddle

"It was the late 1990’s when I was first introduced to kayaking. It is going on 20yrs since I bought my Ikelos paddle. After hundreds of hours using this paddle, it is my all time favorite. I’ve had owned many boats, but basically only one paddle. It has gotten me through some pretty rough situations, and many effortless ones. I can not imagine being a day on the water without it."
