"A year ago, I purchased my Shuna bent-shaft paddle. Even though l had to wait until spring to try it out, it has definitely been worth the wait! Now, after using it all season, I must say that buying it was the best decision I could have made. My husband teases that if l get dumped, to “save the paddle first”! (Referring to the fact that the paddle cost more than his kayak) Haha! I have a degenerative neurological condition which limits my strength and coordination. A friend introduced me to kayaking in the summer of ‘22, and l loved it! She also introduced me to her Werner bent-shaft paddle. After that first season of me using a “Lifetime” paddle, I thought that a lighter weight bent-shaft paddle would help me to continue paddling for a few more years. I no longer have the stress on my wrists, elbows and shoulders that l felt during that first season of paddling! Even my hands were more comfortable. The bent-shaft felt as though it had been custom made to fit me! I am truly enjoying my Shuna!"
