What is a Factory Second? Factory seconds are structurally sound paddles with minor cosmetic issues, including scratches, porosity, fading, irregularities, and color variation. Most of these imperfections will be found on the blades. Due to constantly shifting inventory, we cannot offer detailed information or photos concerning the condition of a specific paddle. We offer our standard 1-year warranty and 30-day return policy on these cosmetically blemished models.

Can a refrigerator be surfed? With this it CAN!
"A fellow paddler and I had seen enough. We've been driving by this refrigerator for weeks now and it was time to take action! The Washougal R often comes up fast, sweeping all manor of debris into the flow. After some recent high water left a fridge right at water's edge, it became clear that the city, county, state, nor feds were going to do anything to get the thing out of the river. It was time to take matters into our own hands (and boats!) We paddled down the few miles to the fridge and then managed to wrestle it back in the river. Sure enough... it had enough insulation left to float pretty well! Normally I'd be concerned that the fridge was too heavy and cumbersome to paddle out, but my Werner Surge had PLENTY of power with its full catch and generous blade surface area. I managed to not just paddle it, but actually surfed a little wave for a moment or two! Seriously though, great paddle and SUPER bomber. I HIGHLY recommend."
