"The best paddle I've ever used, perfectly natural movement and very comfortable."
"Hi: i was just having a look at the website and thought I would add my comments to the reviews. I believe I bought my kalliste bent shaft in 2006. I have way over 1500 miles on it now. I paddle in northwestern Ontario where we have every conceivable type of nasty weather and rocky shoals as well as deep water. This paddle really performs and you never have to worry about it letting you down no matter what the wave and wind conditions are. I would recommend the kalliste to any paddler no matter what your skill level is. My paddling style is low to mid angle I don't get too hung up on the low angle part of things. I have several paddles in the shed collecting dust as they just can never possibly match my kalliste. anyway i wish happy and safe paddling season to everyone"
"Great product. Looks cool and makes my arms and hands feel much better than ever before. Comfortable, strong stroke and perfect adjustment. Love it and the friends are looking for it :-)"
"I am coming from a steel and plastic paddle that was included with my inflatable kayak and this paddle makes a world of difference. At one point the inflatable combined with not-so-great technique actually resulted in me getting carpal tunnel for 2 months. With this paddle, I recently paddled 13 miles straight with zero wrist or shoulder strain. To be clear - I'm not being hyperbolic, there was no strain at all."
"I would rather paddle a plywood box with this paddle than the nicest boat there is with a plywood paddle. Whether you are into the bent shaft or not this might be the last paddle you’ll ever use for touring. It’s effortless to move this paddle and it’s super light and stiff. It’s a fast paddle in that you will keep a very good pace for quite a distance before wanting a rest. Start paddling with the kalliste and you won’t want to stop though."
"I own two of these. A 240cm and 230cm standard bent shafts. They are without question the most fluid motion paddles I have ever owned. I’m 60 now and these are absolutely refreshing to use. No fatigue no pain just solid gains. Beautiful Quality and flat out an extension of torso !!"
