"Awesome paddle, my only criticism is it should come with a paddle bag."
"The lighter weight is so much more comfortable than my previous paddle. I was worried that the lighter weighti might not do as well in choppy water, but I'm satisfied. Would encourage those who are getting older,I'm 71, to try this paddle."
"I purchased another Kaliste after my older one was stolen. No question as to getting another one. Light weight, easy on my wrists, and perfect for longer touring paddles."
"I was thrilled to take delivery of my new paddle ahead of my anticipated receive date as I had a kayaking trip planed. I opened the shipping box and found that the paddle was well packaged with no issues due to shipping. Upon close examination of the paddle, I could find NO issues making it a factory second! This is my first Euro Blade Paddle (I primarily use a Greenland style paddle) and found this paddle to be extremely easy to use, no flutter and very quiet through out the full paddle stroke. I purchased the Kalliste with a small shaft as I have small hands and I have to say, it was the right choice for me. If you were considering ordering a factory second from Werner, I would not hesitate. I also purchased the Tour Padded Travel Bag as the same time, and found the quality to be first rate. No reservations on this purchase as well."
"Was able to test my new Kalliste 240cm paddle with a nice 6. 04 mile paddle completed in I hr 57 m 30 s. It's weight is so light (23oz), easy to handle & feels good in my hands. I also have a Camano 230cm & 250cm. I really enjoy using the Kalliste over the Camano. Lighter weight less fatigue when paddling for several hours."
"Other than what my untrained eye would call a small glassing blemish, the paddle is perfect. I'm really enjoying the reduced effort on long flat sections of rivers."
"I’ve been using the Werner Kalliste for a while now, and honestly, it’s the best paddle I’ve ever owned. Right out of the box, you can tell this thing is premium — it’s insanely lightweight thanks to the carbon shaft and foam-core blades, and it just feels effortless in the water. What really surprised me was how buoyant the blades are. They almost “pop” out of the water at the end of each stroke, which makes long-distance paddling way less tiring. I do mostly low-angle touring, and the blade shape is perfect — smooth, flutter-free strokes and super quiet. It just glides."
"This is my wife’s new paddle, and after taking it for a test drive, it’s absolutely amazing! Minimal swing weight, comfortable grip, easy to link strokes on the fly, and best of all…. The foam core has it nearly leaping out of the water, making your strokes effortless. My wife took it on it’s 10 mile, inaugural paddle, this morning and couldn’t stop raving. Definitely getting a standard sized grip for myself!"
"Excellent paddle. Super light weight and perfect for my wife. I have been using a Lendal paddle for many years. This paddle is every bit as good"
"The best paddle I've ever used, perfectly natural movement and very comfortable."
