Best Paddle Ever!
"I bought a small diameter, straight shaft Stikine about 3 years ago now and I love everything about this paddle! It was an upgrade to the bent shaft, normal diameter, AT Eddy. I found that I accelerate faster after making the switch the to Stikine. I am a 67 inch tall, 145 lb female that mostly paddles the New and Gauley rivers. The straight shaft gave me more dexterity and less wrist issues than ATs bent design. This paddle is so incredibly light! The only downside is rescuing another swimmer's paddle, which always feels like a giant club to me now after going small diameter. Even the guys with normal man sized hands love the smaller diameter shaft when I let them hold it. Seriously, all females and men with smaller hands, drop the ego and get the small shaft!! So much control and effortless side slipping! I love this paddle!! I sing its praise everywhere I go!"
